Dramatic success

Grace Sutton is used to big performances – the Standish Community High School student has already built up an impressive list of achievements in the theatrical world – and yet her performance in her GCSE examinations just might be her best yet! Grace, who was voted in Y11 to be head girl, has been volunteering with Stage Coach for the past 9 years alongside her school studies. She has also achieved a Level 6 in the prestigious LAMDA qualifications as well as finding time for her piano practice and Grade 6 singing exams too! And if that wasn’t enough, Grace has also appeared in Bolton Little Theatre’s pantomime – demonstrating her obvious passion for acting, music and performance. Despite these impressive achievements, Grace still somehow managed to dedicate enough of her time to her studies, achieving some of the highest grades in the school. Grace achieved an astonishing 8 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s and wants to go on to study at Winstanley College and hopefully become a doctor. All her teachers at Standish are incredibly proud of Grace’s achievements so far and have no doubt a very bright future awaits!
